Originally from England and a resident of the Houston area since 1998, Ruth Duance has made several international and local moves, so she certainly understands how stressful these times can be. But she’s also aware of how exciting and rewarding a move can be, as when she and her family moved to The Woodlands in 2004!

Ruth is a Realtor who loves her job, takes it very seriously and wants to help all of her clients, whether tenants, landlords, buyers, sellers or investors, have the smoothest move possible. For example, there was the time Ruth helped a client clean a home before the moving truck arrived because the scheduled cleaners didn’t show up. On another occasion, she spent hours in the county clerk’s office searching records to prove that a lien against one of her sellers was incorrect and had been mistakenly misfiled against her client instead of the correct party who had a similar name. On yet another, she waited in her clients’ home for furniture to be delivered when an emergency arose and, being new to town, they didn’t have anyone else to turn to.

Clearly, Ruth will do whatever is in the best interest of her clients and make things flow. She also pledges to give each client equal attention whether it be for a lease or a multi-million dollar listing. Her hope is that at the end of the transaction, her name will be the one clients remember when someone asks “Do you know a great Realtor?” If that happens, she will feel she has done her job well!

Ruth shares a philosophy learned from her mother that she passes on to clients even now. That is, you will know if a house will be a good home the minute you walk in. If it doesn't feel right then, it won't get better the longer you stay. It's an attitude that has served her and her buyers very well.

Away from the office, Ruth and her husband, David, married since 1985, are proud parents to their grown children and now grandparents to their first grandchild. She also loves to travel with her family whenever possible.

Having spent over 50 years in the Real Estate and Homebuilding business and being a second-generation Realtor/Homebuilder, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Probably the single most important thing I have learned is to ask clients questions and then listen! Understanding my fiduciary responsibly to my clients and putting their wants and needs first, then assisting them achieve their housing goal is paramount. My teams have sold and closed over 7,000 homes and I have personally sold and managed transactions exceeding $75 million, encompassing residential properties, lots, and undeveloped land. Johnny Pack is a second generation home builder beginning his 40th year of selling, building, and marketing new homes. Johnny has spent a great portion of his career in the production side of home building industry. He began his career as a new home salesperson before he later became VP of sales and marketing, and eventually Division President, company president, and managing general partner.

Johnny has developed sales and marketing plans that increased traffic and dramatically increased sales. He has developed and implemented customer service programs that help set records for customer satisfaction of over 98.%. He has developed, written and presented sales training programs, devised and managed comprehensive Realtor programs, and been instrumental in companies increasing sales volume, market share, and profitability.

Johnny is a former president of San Antonio’s HBA Sales and Marketing Counsel, a speaker at the NAHB National Convention over 10 times, and has judged numerous home building awards including “The best in American Living Awards”.
